Text: "And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half ; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished." Daniel 12:7 Quote: [...] And I heard the man, that was clothed with the linen garments, that stood vpon the waters of the riuer, when he had lifted vp his right hand, & his left hand vnto heauen, and had sworne by him that liueth for euer, that vnto a time, & times, & the halfe of a time. And when the dispersion of the hand of the holie people shal be accomplished, al these thinges shal be accomplished. [...]    7. Vnto a time, and times, and half a time. Why ten minus three?: Daniel 7 revisited!

Study: "After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns . I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots : and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things." Daniel 7:7,8 Recall our previous problem with this text... a historical problem with the ten horns. Depending on the source you site, you get a different list of nations or kingdoms for the ten. Historically, there is no consensus on who the horns are... and this makes perfect sense. There were more than ten tribes breaking in upon the Roman Empire when it began its fall or when it fell. Text: "And he shall speak great words against the most High , and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws : and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time." Daniel 7:25 Quote: [...] And the wicked Antiochus spake words against the Most High, and changed the times and the seasons . And he made to cease the covenant of Abraham, and abolished the Sabbath of rest. For he commanded the Jews that they should not circumcise. Therefore, (the Prophet) said concerning him;--- He shall think to change the times and the seasons and the laws, and they were given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time . New to Daniel 7

Study: 10 Horns - 3: We have seen that both Daniel 2 and Daniel 7 talk of a divided 4th Kingdom, divided Rome, papal Rome, or the nations/kingdoms of divided Europe. "And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the [ 4th ] kingdom shall be divided ;..." Daniel 2:41 "And the ten horns out of this [ 4th ] kingdom are ten kings [ or kingdoms ] that shall arise:..." Daniel 7:24 Daniel 7 introduces the fact that there are 10 kingdoms. This is new because even though the statue has 10 toes, the 10 toes are never brought up in connection with the divided kingdom. But Daniel 7 introduces more with regard to the 10 toes, more that Daniel 2 does not hint at in the least. "I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots:..." Daniel 7:8 Who are the 10 horns a...
